Over the next few months Google will be rolling out several changes/upgrades to Google Classroom. Since GC is an online application you will notice the changes when you log in (upgrades take a few weeks to activate on every GC account, so if you don't see it in your account just yet, it's coming).
If you haven't noticed yet, GC now has Rich Text Format available for Assignments and Announcements - you can now Bold, Italicize, Underline, and use Bullet Lists....so exciting!👏
