You can edit, comment, and collaborate on Microsoft Office files using Google Drive - Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Just upload any file to your drive and work as usual.
This is an excel file uploaded into Drive 👇 - notice the extension .XLSX
If you want to convert to a Google Sheet, click FILE ---> SAVE AS GOOGLE SHEETS
(The process is the same for a Doc or Slide deck).
